This Korean bread has become famous as Filipinos become avid viewers of Korean Drama (K-Drama). Almost everyone started eating, drinking, and dressing like their Korean idols.

More people turned to K-Drama to while away time during the quarantine period. Hence, its popularity grew even more, along with Korean food and drinks that have become Pinoy’s fave.

I may not be one of those who have been hooked to K-Drama but I have always loved Korean food.

This time though, I will only focus on the best-tasting herb cream cheese pull-apart bread that I have tasted so far during the quarantine period.

The outer bread has a golden-brown color and when you pop it in the oven before eating … it becomes a bit crispy and the cream cheese garlic herbed mixture in the middle melts.

Then, when you pull a part of the bread, it opens like a flower that has beautifully bloomed in spring. Oh, what a lovely sight!

Once you start eating it, your mouth is filled with the creaminess of the mixture which is such a delightful combination to taste.

The strong hints of garlic and herb are perfectly blended with the cream cheese that tastefully explodes in your mouth as you eat the bread.

Whether paired with your favorite blend of brewed coffee or with a glass filled with ice and your favorite soda, this herb cream cheese pull-apart bread is perfect to perk up your morning or soothe you in the afternoon after a day of work.

Even my children love it. The soft bread with melted herbed cream cheese puts a smile on their face. 😊

With all the sad news and helplessness that most of us witness every day, this bread will definitely be the simple joy that we need to make us cheerful and hopeful that those beautiful sceneries in K-Dramas can be places we can soon visit. But for now, tasting their food may be the closest that Filipinos can ever get.
