Big Al’s Chocolate Cake is so good that it’s hard to resist. Topped with creamy caramel, you’re going to love this chocolate cake. 🙂

It was back in Christmas of 2015, when we first got a taste of Big Al’s chocolate cake. My office colleagues/very close friends Mitch and Ebet gave my family as one of their Christmas gifts, the Big Al’s chocolate cake.

It became an instant hit and we knew that it wouldn’t be our last. Big Al’s became part of my birthday celebrations in the office and other parties. In fact, even during the pandemic, we have become loyal customers of this really exceptional indulgence of chocolate cake.

What Makes Big Al’s Cookie Jar Decadent Chocolate Cake Extraordinary?

Well, first of all, it comes in a tin foil pan with no added decoration, placed in a brown box with its printed logo. No frills needed as the cake itself says it all.

Super simple packaging but inside is the best chocolate cake. 🤗

A great product, like Big Al’s chocolate cake, does not need any grand introduction, so to speak, because it is the loyalty of the customers and consistency of the product that will prove that it’s definitely one of the best in the market.

Eat it chilled or warm, Big Al’s Chocolate Cake is, no doubt, the best! 😋

The decadent chocolate cake can be eaten in two (2) ways…chilled or warmed. When chilled, one can experience the slow melting of the chocolate once inside the mouth. The rich chocolate topping blends with the super moist cake and instantly you can feel the melt-in-your-mouth satisfaction.

The chilled slice is best paired with freshly brewed coffee. When you have time and you want to taste the warm melted chocolate topping that instantly combines with the moist cake, just pop in the microwave and leave for about 10seconds max (1001, 1002,1003, 1004….1010)…ting! Then, get it out of the microwave and voila, a melted decadent cake! Immediately consume and that ultimate chocolate experience is guaranteed.

For those who like caramel topping with their chocolate cake, the caramel chocolate cake of Big Al’s is the best choice. The caramel topping is thick enough and its flavor is definitely tasted in every bite.

Not too sweet yet creamy enough to satisfy your cravings. You get the best of both worlds in just one slice…creamy brown tasty caramel and the melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cake. As I have mentioned, it can also be consumed in 2 wonderful ways…chilled or warmed.

The cookies are all packed with loads of chocolate chips and the variant’s name is truly represented in every cookie. 2. I’ve a question. Is the price difference between Big Al’s and a Remilly’s cake worth it? Unemployed right now but craving cake and I’ve always wanted to try Big Al’s but I’m thinking I should settle for Red Ribbon or Remilly’s instead.

Kung pwede sanang slice just to satisfy the craving…

    1. Hello, Ara. Thanks for dropping by. That is a good question. Yes, there is a difference and simply because they’re two different kinds of cakes. Si Big Al’s is a super chocolate cake and Remjilly’s is a light chiffon cake topped with yema icing. If you’re just craving cake … without any kind of preference, try Remilly’s. To start with, they sell slices of their yema cake. I think it goes for about ₱75. Also, there’s a Remilly’s branch almost everywhere in Quezon City. This is not to say that Big Al’s is not masarap. When it comes to chocolate cake, Big Al’s is one of the best options talaga. Hope that answers your question.

  3. Thanks for your response! I did try Big Al’s and was surprised that the cake loaf was 8x2x2. Yun pala ibig sabihin ng 8×4. It IS good but I think I’ve had chocolate cake at a better price that was just as good so I won’t be buying again most probably.

    1. For the quality of the cake, the price is pretty good. It’s still moist even after a couple of days. This is the only cake my kids ask for on a regular basis. We are super suki.

  7. I was able to taste Big Al’s chocolate cake the last time I visited the Philippines. It’s really good. I remember I couldn’t sop eating it but I had to. Can’t have too much sugar but I still remember it vividly. 🙂
