If I’m not mistaken, Hap Chan was a 24-hour restaurant then. It wasn’t exactly a fine dining restaurant but everybody went there. During those days, you just had to drop by after a night of gimmick.

Almost twenty years have passed since the first Hap Chan restaurant in Manila came about. Now, there are plenty Hap Chan branches. There’s no need for you to go to the Manila area to get a taste of some Hong Kong street food.

Suffice to say, Hap Chan has evolved from a tiny restaurant (for all-nighters) to a wholesome family restaurant.

Hap Chan has become a mainstay in our home. When in doubt of what to eat, we turn to Hap Chan.

One of the reasons why we love Hap Chan is for its affordability. It’s pretty friendly on the budget. We can order as much Yang Chow without having to worry about the bill.
