Have you heard of Blazing Tentacles? Well, we have. We tried their takoyaki and here’s what we have to say about it.

Yummy Street Food Called Takoyaki

Takoyaki is Japanese street food and it’s so yummy. In a way, you can liken it to our yummy tokneneng and fishballs since it’s round and tasty as well.

However, takoyaki doesn’t float in oil while it’s being cooked. 😀 Takoyaki is cooked in a special grill with holes. It requires very little oil.

Takoyaki is made out of batter that’s filled with bits of veggies, octopus, and tempura. It’s topped with a special kind of sauce and other Japanese condiments. It tastes very good.

When you get to taste the authentic takoyaki, it’s hard to believe that it’s street food. But it is! 😃

I remember eating it in Japan and getting addicted to it. Whenever I do some grocery shopping in Jusco, I would always buy some.

There was no way I’d miss the opportunity of eating takoyaki.

It’s now easy to get some authentic takoyaki here in Manila, thanks to the abundance of Japanese restaurants. However, it could get pretty expensive.

Just a couple of days ago, we ordered some takoyaki from a pretty known Japanese restaurant and we were shocked by the price.

However, it did taste very good. Pretty close to what I used to eat in Japan.

So I guess the price made up for the quality of the takoyaki but it hardly justified the poor customer service we got from the restaurant.

That led us to find other options.

Blazing Tentacles Is A Very Good Option

Thanks to the poor customer service we got from one particular Japanese restaurant, we discovered Blazing Tentacles.😄

It was actually my stepson who thought of trying Blazing Tentacles since he knew the owner.

Interestingly, the owner of Blazing Tentacles is an architect. She went into the food business last year.

She started out with pasta dishes and now she has added Blazing Tentacles to her list of food ventures.

One thing I can say is that we are so happy to have discovered Blazing Tentacles. Not only is it a lot more affordable, but it’s also just as good as the ones from the Japanese restaurant we had ordered from previously.

A Good Product Goes Hand In Hand With Great Customer Service

Takoyaki from Blazing Tentacles is just as good as the ones we ordered from a known Japanese restaurant but it’s a lot more affordable. 😁

When it comes to customer service, Blazing Tentacles beats the well-known restaurant we had previously ordered takoyaki from.

Here’s the reason why. We placed our order quite late but that did not stop Blazing Tentacles from entertaining us. Despite the number of pieces we ordered, they did not budge at all.

Our order came via Grab delivery and it was hot and freshly made. ❤️

A good product definitely goes hand in hand with great customer service.
