A Japanese Restaurant In Quezon City
If you live in the south, chances are you’re not familiar with Ariake Japanese Restaurant.
It’s located in Tomas Morato. I’m not aware if they have any other branches somewhere.
Over the years, we have been visiting it in Tomas Morato. When we discovered it more than ten years ago, it was under a different name.
It was located on top of Shakey’s Restaurant. The fact that it was, made us try it. We figured the kids could eat some pizza and we could have some Japanese food upstairs. It was a pretty good location.

Eventually, our kids ended up eating upstairs as well. They figured they could enjoy Shakey’s somewhere else. Hence, Ariake became our favorite restaurant.
Awesome Menu
I guess it’s pretty obvious that Ariake Japanese Restaurant serves great food. We wouldn’t be going back for more if it didn’t.
Ariake Japanese Restaurant has been able to maintain its high standards. The quality and quantity of food servings have remained the same over the years.

I do remember one time when they experimented on wasabi in sachets. Well, that didn’t resonate so well with some of the customers.
Nonetheless, they took note of it and eventually brought back the usual serving of wasabi.
Great Customer Service
Another good reason why we keep going back to Ariake is because of their customer service. Their crew is very welcoming.
The fact that most of their crew has been around for years says a lot about management.
During the pre-pandemic days, the restaurant was always full. You’d have to go early or make reservations to get seats right away.
Of course, there were times when we just dropped by. Just like everybody else, we had to wait to be seated.
The crew never played favorites. Even if they knew us, they would prioritize the ones who came before us.
However, they would make sure our orders were prepared as soon as we got a table. They would usually ask us if we were going to order the usual.
Most of the time, we would say yes. We didn’t have to tell them one by one what our orders were. They always knew. 😀 👍
It’s been almost two years since we last dined at Ariake Japanese Restaurant. We miss it. It’s a good thing that we can still order take-out.
In case you find yourself in Quezon City, why not give Ariake Japanese Restaurant a try?
