Om Indian Kitchen is a quaint, little resto located at The Grove by Rockwell. If I hadn’t seen their ad on my feed, I wouldn’t have heard of it.
Thank goodness for the ad, I got pretty curious about it. After all, I have been looking for an affordable Indian buffet for the longest time.

We excitedly dropped by at the resto but we were too late. The lunch buffet was scheduled from noon up to 2 PM. Unfortunately, we showed up at 3 and the resto was closed.
It was a good thing my son really wanted to try it out. So, we went back the next day, Sunday. It was then that I realized that the buffet was not a regular thing. It was a special offer for that specific weekend.
We went early and had the pleasure of meeting the Om Indian Kitchen owner. Suman Gogna is the charming lady behind Om Indian Kitchen.
Tita Su, as she is fondly called, has been generously sharing her heritage with Filipinos for the past 19 years through the mystical flavors of Indian cuisine.

She excitedly told us that the buffet was on a test run. If it turned out well, she would consider doing it every weekend.
By the looks of the people who took the time to visit Om Indian Kitchen, we might just have another option to add to our list of weekend buffets to try out.

I loved their samosa. For me. it’s the best samosa I have tasted so far. And yes, I have gone to a lot of Indian restos to be able to compare. 😀
The samosa from Om Indian Kitchen is packed with a generous filling and tastes really good. The crust is perfect — not hard at all.👍
I also liked their bread pakora with a tinge of mint flavor.
Their papadum was deliciously crunchy and garlic naan was very tasty.

It was my first time to taste fish curry and I liked it. Actually, I loved it.
If you’re worried about the spiciness of the dishes, don’t be!
If you’re worried about the spiciness of the dishes, don’t be! Their dishes aren’t spicy but if you want to add some spice, you can try their chili sauce (which is so good 👍).
For me, the garlic naan bread and the Chicken Tikka Masala were a perfect combination.
For dessert, we had kheer and gulab jamun. It was the first time I tasted it and it was so good. 🥰

I’m glad I tried the kheer because it was really good. It’s a sweet rice pudding with hints of spices.
