As a former flight attendant and a Swiss-trained chef, you might wonder why she does what she does. Well, I wondered. So, I asked, and here’s her touching answer:

“When you see potential, it would be a pity and a waste if you don’t grab the opportunity to help.  I just believe in the beauty and goodness and the limitless potential of a human being. ”

Kids deserve a place to learn. Chef Ida’s Food N’ Books feeding program provides kids with a quiet corner to learn.

The Challenges Of Home Schooling

With the current situation, kids are compelled to learn from home. That’s very challenging, not just for the kids but for the parents as well.

It’s worth noting that some public schools are not doing online classes. Instead, they require parents to come to school to gather the learning materials for their kids. They then bring home the learning materials and end being the teachers of their kids.

Parents have no choice but to teach their kids. Then come Friday, they need to go back to school to submit the projects or assignments of their kids. That’s the only way their kids can be assessed by the teachers. Hence, is the reason why parents need to be hands-on with their kids these days.

Unfortunately, this leaves no room for a parent to work or earn a daily wage. Usually, it’s the mom who has to stay home to make sure the kids are learning.

Chef Ida’s Food N’ Books Feeding Program is a big help to moms.
