How To Cook Chopsuey Our Way

Here’s how to cook chopsuey our way. There’s really nothing complicated about it. Chopsuey is such an easy dish to cook.

First things first. Add some cooking oil to a pan. Wait until it’s hot then add in the onions.

Cook for a couple of seconds and then add in the garlic. Brown the garlic but be careful not to burn it.😄

Now add in the boneless chicken. Saute for a couple of seconds. Then add some water to cook the chicken well.

Drop a chicken cube and cover. Let it cook and simmer for about five minutes.

After five minutes, start adding in the vegetables. Start with the pieces of carrots and sayote so that they will cook well. Then add in the cauliflower and the broccoli. Mix well.

Now add in the string beans, young corn, and snow peas. Mix well again. At this point, you can add some cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Then season with some salt and pepper.

Finally, add in the boiled quail eggs.

The nice thing about chopsuey is that you can always skip the chicken and the quail eggs if you’re vegetarian.

Of course, you can always add more of it if you’re not. This particular dish can easily be tweaked according to your needs. 😀

That’s it! You now have a tasty vegetable dish that even non-veggie eaters will love.😃
