Kao pad is Thailand’s version of fried rice. The one thing I can say about it is that it’s yummy! 😋😋😋
Decades ago when I used to frequent Thailand, I remember seeing khao pad everywhere. It was cooked and sold on the streets. I remember buying it for about 35 baht. That would be a plate full of khao Pad already.
Of course, the hotel version would be more expensive. But no matter where I bought it, it was so masarap. 😋😋😋
My husband, who also used to frequent Thailand decades ago, cooks the best khao pad (of course, that’s my opinion). He took some time to see how it’s cooked on the streets of Thailand. Since then, he has been cooking it at home and we love it. ❤️
