Paseo de Magallanes is such a convenient place to drop by and eat, especially if you’re on your way to the south.

As residents of the north, we have made it a habit to drop by Paseo de Magallanes to eat. It’s for that reason that we have discovered great food finds there.

One of our great food finds there was an Indian restaurant but unfortunately, it had already closed down. However, that didn’t stop us from dropping by.

After all, there were still some restaurants operating and they were pretty good as well. 😁

So, one day, we decided to drop by again only to find that some of the restaurants had a lot of restrictions.

Despite being regular customers, we were compelled to show and divulge personal information which we were not comfortable doing.

However, there was a silver lining.

That got us to explore other restaurants in the area. Hence, we ended up in Doon Thai And Asian Fusion Cuisine.

That got us to explore other restaurants in the area until we came across a charming Thai restaurant.  We got curious. That was how we ended up in Doon Thai And Asian Fusion Cuisine.

We were welcomed by a smiling crew who did not bother to ask us personal questions. 😄

They just happily gave us the option to either eat outside or inside. We opted for the former since it was a nice, sunny day.

Doon Thai And Asian Fusion Cuisine Is The Real Thing

During my flying days (as a flight attendant), our port of entry to Europe and the Middle East was Thailand. That meant we had to spend the night (in some cases, more than that) in Bangkok before proceeding to a country in Europe or in the Middle East.

Direct flights to faraway countries were unheard of then. 😃

Since I flew for quite some time, Thailand became a second home to me.  Aside from the fact that it’s a shopping mecca, it’s also a paradise of flavors. So, I have always enjoyed their food and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. 😉

When you open your eyes to see how the dishes are presented, it’s as if you’re eating in a hotel in Thailand at a price that’s not harmful to the budget.
