Before I go on with my Some Thai review, it’s best you know beforehand, that it’s going to be different from the other Some Thai reviews posted online.

First of all, this is not a paid review. I went to visit the place out of my curiosity.

Second of all, I am not exactly a food connoisseur. I just really love to eat and Thai food happens to be one of my favorite cuisines. Furthermore, my experience with Thai food is limited to my visits to the streets of Thailand.

Hence, I am not a chef or anything. I am just someone who loves to eat and Thai food happens to be one of my favorite cuisines. In other words, this is going to be a pretty straightforward review.

No frills or anything.

What And Where Is Some Thai Restaurant?

Some Thai Restaurant in Tomas Morato offers a taste of Thailand in the heart of Quezon City.  It serves popular Thai staples like Pad Thai and Tom Yum.

With its blend of spicy, sweet, and savory flavors, the restaurant provides another venue for food enthusiasts to experience the vibrant world of Thai cuisine.

Is it Worth The Hype?

Let’s go straight to the point. I would have to say no, it’s not worth the hype. Although I would recommend it, I wouldn’t make it my go-to place for Thai food. I would stick to Muang Thai Restaurant, which is also located in Quezon City.

This is not to say that the food in Some Thai is not good. On the contrary, as a matter of fact. However, I just find it a bit too pricey for the quality and quantity.

While Tomas Morato is a convenient location, not too many parking slots are available. We also had to wait outside the restaurant for almost an hour.

However, the staff made sure that we were taken care of. There were chairs for us to sit on and some free drinks.

I would give a thumbs up for their customer service. Special mention to the guy who is assigned to the front door. He made sure everybody who was waiting outside had chairs to sit on.

So, if you are curious about the place, go right ahead. But make sure to be prepared to spend. Better yet, make sure to go when you’re not too hungry so you don’t have to order that much. 🤣
