We were on our way to a hotel in Pampanga when I noticed a red signage that said Fred’s Pies.

It was a good thing the sign was red. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it at all if it weren’t. 😃

Despite the small prints on the sign, plus the fact that I was in a moving car, I was able to read Fred’s Pies.

So, that made me wonder who Fred was.

Considering the fact that I was in Clark, there’s a big chance that Fred could be a foreigner living in the area. 😊

If he were, then maybe his pies could be worth a try. I’ve always loved eating savory pies in other countries.

The flaky crust and yummy filling make a perfect combination.

This is not to say that local pies are not any good because they are. It’s just sometimes, you’d want to have the real thing, right?

Well, I took a chance on Fred’s Pies and I did not regret it all. 👍

As I was approaching Fred’s Pies, I noticed a foreigner on a bike devouring a pie.

When I saw how much he was enjoying his pie, I was pretty sure Fred was a foreigner. And I was right.

According to the friendly ladies in the store, Fred is an Australian who just loves to make pies.

I took one look at his pies and knew they were exactly the ones I used to eat abroad.

While Fred’s Pies are definitely savory, the crust is just perfect. Not too thick at all but perfectly flaky.

The Curry Chicken Pie is a must try. It’s a meal in itself.

Guess what? The price is not bad at all. I regret NOT buying a lot of it.

Fred’s Pies offer more than just pies. You have to taste the Bullet! It’s not exactly a pie but it tastes pretty good as well.
