The taste? Delightful!

Let’s face it. Not all pancit dishes are alike. But pancit is pancit and it’s hard to say no to it. I’ll take pancit over pasta anytime. 🥰

Buddy’s is known for their pancit Lucban.

Lucban, a municipality in the province of Quezon is obviously its hometown. 😀

The noodles used in Pancit Lucban are typically thin rice noodles, and the dish is often garnished with various ingredients, such as veggies (carrots, bok choy, onions, peas), pork belly, and shrimp.  Some versions of it also consist of pig liver.

One thing is for sure, this particular kind of pancit is loaded. Super loaded!

At a glance, you’d think pancit lucban is similar to pancit canton.

But as you dig into it, it’s clearly not.

Pancit Lucban is a lot dryer than pancit canton. Each ingredient shines in taste but at the same harmonizes the entire dish.

When you take a forkful of Buddy’s pancit, you get to taste each ingredient, the meats, the veggies, the noodles. Then they eventually burst into a harmony of flavors giving you a delightful experience.

Buddy’s pancit is best eaten with vinegar and that is what makes it different from the other pancit dishes.

You need to try their Lucban longganisa. It goes so well with their Pancit Lucban.

They also offer sizzlers and steaks with rice. In addition to that, they also offer an all-day breakfast. Their longsilog Lucban and daing na bangus with rice are highly recommended.

Other dishes include crispy pata, dinuguan, kare kare, fresh lumpia, and lechon kawali.

They also offer a selection of Buddy Pizza. You can opt for a Buddy Pizza Regular or Supreme. The latter consists of the following options: Classic Supreme, Hawaiian Supreme, Vegetarian Supreme, and Bacon & Pepperoni Supreme.

They also offer other kinds of pancit dishes such as bihon, canton, sotanghon, chami, and lomi.

The Buddy Burger is also worth a try.

For dessert, we recommend their cassava cake also called budin. You’re going to love it.

Buddy’s is definitely a great place to bring balikbayan friends. And the price? Oh so reasonable! Their customer service is top-notch as well.

It’s no wonder Buddy’s restaurants are always full.

In Makati, you can drop by their branches at Karakong (Olympia), Kalayaan Avenue, The Link (Ayala Center).

In Taguig, you can drop by their branches at Market Market, BGC, and Venice Grand Canal.

In Pasig City, you can drop by the Tycoon Centre in Ortigas.

In Quezon City, you can drop by their Timog, Araneta Center, and Eastwood branches.

They also have branches outside Metro Manila. specifically in Laguna and Quezon Province.
